What We’ve Been Up To….

rwb-q

We’ve having a sew-a-thon this week at Chloe’s house!  We finished this great picnic quilt yesterday and loaded it on the frame for quilting, fingers crossed that we will have it quilted, bound and in a box on the way to the McCall’s office in Colorado by this time tomorrow (maybe if we skip sleeping that might actually happen LOL).  It’s been a really fun project and we can’t wait to share it with everyone when the magazine comes out this summer.  As you know, we love the folks at Robert Kaufman and were thrilled when they helped us out with the fabric for this project.  We needed a huge assortment of red, white and blue fabrics to get the scrappy look we wanted and were able to make the quilt fat quarter friendly thanks to Allie at Kaufman.  Even better, we are going to be giving away an entire FQ bundle with the fabrics we used to make the quilt!  We’ll have to wait until the magazine comes out this summer, so be sure to follow us on Face Book and twitter for the announcement on how you could win this red, white and blue bundle of happiness.

Give Away Goodness!!

In lieu of being able to give the bundle away right now, we’ll be giving away some of the Robert Kaufman fabrics we didn’t use in the quilt – Yum Yum!  Leave a comment here telling us what you think of the new quilt and those amazing fabrics we used and we’ll randomly select a winner on Feb 15 from all the comments!

Even More Goodness!

We just posted some new patterns in the freebies section of our website – be sure to check them out.
Also, almost EVERYTHING in our store is 50% off!

Beachy, and little boy-ey, and patriotic looking
    Easy and cheerful, too.
The tilt is energetic (hate the phrase “with a twist” — so over-used).
Toad-U-Sew does Red Whit & Blue.
